It takes 3,105 adobe bricks to build a 1,000sqft single level house with lumber interior walls and 4,417 with 80′ of brick interior walls using 10 x 14 x 4” size with 0.75” mortar and a three-inch foundation curb (6 – 8″ required in New Mexico to meet building code.
The table below assumes that the:
- Mortar is 0.75” thick
- The adobe brick walls are built on a 3” concrete curb or other water resistant foundation
